DO-178C unit-test suite

A structured unit-test and coverage suite for flight software to DO-178C, targeting MC/DC structural coverage and requirements traceability.

The goal was to build the kind of verification evidence a DO-178C effort needs, automated and repeatable, and to prove it on real flight-software modules.

Key results

• 88 automated unit tests across 8 flight-software modules, all passing
• 100% statement coverage on 6 of 8 modules; MC/DC up to 100%
• Structural coverage with documented justifications for every gap
• The suite found and fixed a real scheduler defect
